How do I add a location if it is not listed in Market Locations within Quick Plan and Precision Planner?

To map out distribution around a store location, first check Locations Manager to see if the locations already exists in your advertiser database.  If the location is not in your advertiser database, you may quickly add a single or multiple locations.

CHECK AND ADD LOCATIONS TO DATABASE

Step 1.  Open Locations Manager

 

Step 2.  Click on the Manage Locations tab

 

  1. Check for business locations in database

On the lower left side of the page go to Location Lookup to see if the business already exists in your advertiser database. The companies are alphabetical and using the slide bar on the right you can quickly find the business within your database.

If company is found, within the search bar under Current Locations, type the exact business name to map out the locations.

Within Location List, at the bottom of your screen, the full address of each locations is listed.  If there are many locations, use the slide bar on the right to see additional locations.

If you do not find your advertiser, add them to your advertiser database.

Step 4.  Add business locations to database

Enter the name you want for the business in the “Group Name” text box. This is the name that will appear in the database for your proposals.

Use the search function on the map to find a location.  Our maps are powered by Google Maps , so in the same way you would search for a location within Google, type in the company name, city, state – until the location is listed in the drop down box.

Click on the location and it will appear on the map.  Once you see the pinpoint on the map, click the “Add to list” button.

The location address will appear in the “Locations to be added” box under the group name. To add another location, go back to the map and search for the new location, then click add to list. Repeat until all locations for that business are in the “Locations to be added” list.

Step 5.  Submit locations

Click the “Save Locations” button to add the locations to the database. You will get a confirmation message when the locations have been added. You can now proceed to create your proposal.
