What are the different Report Tabs and how should I use them?

in Scenarios

Within Precision Planner, there are two tabs that are dedicated to reports based on the created proposal.

Option 1.  Distribution Reports:

There are various ways to view the information generated in your proposal.  Use the dropdown arrow, on the right side of the screen to see the various choices.  Spend some time looking at the selection results and then determine which report is best suited for your specific needs.  Multiple reports may be required – or one report could suffice – all depending on your client’s needs.

Options include:

  • Distribution Detail Zone and ZIP:  Contains FSI Distribution Counts by Distribution Method, Zone, Zip Code and City.  Also includes counts by Ad Date selected.

  • Distribution Detail Zone Only:  Contains FSI Distribution Counts by Distribution Method and Zone.  Also includes counts by Ad Date selected.

  • Distribution Method Detail (Columns):  Contains FSI Distribution Counts for Zone and ZipCode organized in columns by Distribution Method and Ad Date selected.  Also includes a Grand Total for all Distribution Methods and Dates for each Zone and ZipCode.

  • ZIP Code Penetration:  Contains distribution detail for each ZipCode.  Includes a household ** count for each ZipCode as well as a distribution count and penetration for each Distribution Method.  Also contains an aggregate total for each ZipCode by Ad Date.

  • Detail with Distance:  An additional field of the Zone Distance has been added to the report.  Because distribution qualifies for inclusion in a transaction, the Zone Distance is used in both the proposal and this report.  ZipCode distance is not purposely included.

  • Site Allocation:  Contains FSI distribution totals for Zones subtotal by each Location.  This report has some very complex reporting requirements and may take considerably longer to process versus other reports.

  • Zip and Zone Dist Detail with Profile:  Contains distribution details by Distribution Method as well as a combined Zone and Distribution Method field by Zone and Zip Code.  This Profile code can be used in a variety of other applications, such as Profile View, Profile Entry, Quick Plan and Quick Entry.

  • Zone Dist Detail w/ Profile:  Contains distribution details by Distribution Method as well as a combined Zone and Distribution Method field by Zone only.  This Profile code can be used in a variety of other applications, such as Profile View, Profile Entry, Quick Plan and Quick Entry.

  • Summary of Distribution:  Contains a summary of all FSI Distribution Counts by Distribution Method and Ad Date.  This report is used primarily when the standard proposal output has too many rows to show up on a single 8.5×11 sheet of paper.

**Important note regarding households:  MarketAI includes a household count from a master database provided by the US Postal Service AAS file.  For some publishers that have relationships with third party distributors and have unique market needs, MarketAI can utilize an alternate set of household totals by Zip.  Contact MarketAI support.
